- Baking soda.
- Icing sugar.
- A bowl.
- One or more bottle caps.
Preparation
Mix equal parts baking soda and icing sugar in a bowl.
Put the mixture in one or more bottle caps (depending on your need).
Place the plugs near the nest of these insects (you can put them at the entrances to the house).
This way you will effectively get rid of ants and their unwanted invasion.
In fact, these insects cannot distinguish baking soda (which is toxic to them) from icing sugar, hence the effectiveness of the trick.
